1. The Shire shall have available a variety of online, e-mail, and/or printed methods of communication. These methods can be decided via membership vote at a business meeting."
Neither FB nor social media can be Primary mode of communication, per SCA law.
Exchequer - Oswyn $2,354.75 Marine, $1,081.05 RSO. Check for storage locker ($720). Received ACCEPS checks. Max donated $12.99
Martial - Aleator - Fighting was at MayDay; Ryan Mickelson was our Fighting Champion, Oswyn archery champion. Hooba! Still potential for practice if marshal Stock pavilion, informal on Saturday. Rapier; if people contact about rapier, will bring kit as well.
A&S - Elisabetha
- Kingdom A&S is coming up soon. They still need judges if you are attending, please contact Kingdom ASAP. Who is entering a project?
- Volunteers for next month's sewing night [Sean & Becky] We have officially switched to a 1st Monday SCA sewing night with a 3rd Monday Makerspace sewing night where all makers are welcome.
- Gothic Dress/Cotehardie Saturday -- June 27th. Noon - ? Sean and Becky have graciously agreed to host. At minimum, participants should bring their sewing kits and 2-3 yards of woven natural fiber fabric to make their upper body patterns. I can bring 2 sewing machines and an ironing board/iron. This is not going to be a traditional class because I have never done this before (But Kari has, ;-)). I am reviewing all of my instructions and tutorials I have come across, and we will all learn together. All of my resources are on this page.
- What classes have been taught since April 1st? I am trying to get better at collecting this info as it comes.

RSO Business - Elisabetha

- Our reservation for rooms was approved. The request for exempt space (South Lounge) has been filed. I have not heard back about South Lounge as of 5-11-15, but if I recall that may be normal for exempt space.
- Need to renew RSO status--I have one more year before I leave for field work. I am happy to continue for this year unless someone else wants it. We should decide today, and I will initiate the process. Dena, Chuck, Jenn agents, Kari Treasurer; Liz to remain Pres.
- Quad Day - 8/23 (probably) Unofficial space, if desired, by UGL
- New Business
- Swan & Badger event; Pub; gaming/gambling, tavern, minstrels. Lake in the Woods looks viable ~75 people, one pavilion has kitchen, adequate space, need dates, bids, etc. Later than sooner, to allow for brewers to brew.
