In order to get around the need for an onsite scribe to squeeze him- or her- self into the middle of a scroll's phrasing on a day of multiple combats, I tweaked the phrasing on my sample scrolls to read "having proven to be of" (strong arm and valiant heart/keen eye/etc). That way the day-of-event scribes only need to add name, place, and sometimes tournament type...
