Profits from Crown Tourney: After giving $68.83 to kingdom, both groups each get $34.42.

So, we broke even!

And, we got a lot of great feedback. those who were there had a great time, Hoobah

problems: list layout...but they didn't have much to say that we could to differently next time.

the way our list poles are made, there was a duchess who wasn't happy with where she could set up her day camp, and made a huge freaking fit and bitched to the king and demanded that everything be changed so she could get her way.

 

Maidens could also possibly make a profit IF

we cut in 1/2 the number of booklets we print (Kendrick will print)

Maidens Feast: we have a space! McKinley great hall and Hendrick House kitchen

Tomaris will look at the kitchen on Monday and see if it will work; it's not reserved yet or mentioned on our website

Roana talked to Ix: who says that if there's a feast, he will do everything in his power to make sure people buy tickets

aiming to serve 50, or maybe 60

McKinley requires that we have someone who is licensed to be in a commercial kitchen (commercial certified) and they charge $30/hour

on top of site fee $100 for the hall

kitchen fee: $200

the event will pay for the hall

Questions: is it a dry place? If we do the ball and dessert revel there, who's going to make that happen?

we might consider catering from Pekara or Piotto's (?) at the mall

our budget from catering dessert last year was $700

BUT the church is likely to be dry, and we need someone to make sure the Union is locked tight with everyone's stuff protected, because fighters will be leaving their gear overnight

court at 5:30-ish, feast at 7:00? Bran suggests having a set or two of dancing between feast and dessert revel

What His Royal Highness would like to have at Maidens:

that we createa a letter that we send out to nearby royals of Calontir, northshield, glenn abhan, aethelmearc, ealdormere

majesties and highnesses to "premier winter fighting event if the middle kingdom"

then 3 days later: send same missive to nearby barons and baronesses of neighboring kingdoms

then a few days later: general message to general populace of those kingdoms in Savaric's name

he would like to see 100 or more heavy fighters

last year we had 37, the year before 42

someone else would need to take charge of planning music/entertainment
