    • Dena: free comic books day in spring
    • Tomaris: remind former members that we are now active and cool again; maybe organize a shire party / May Day and let them know about it

  • Events beyond our borders
    • I-80 is like Hadrian's Wall in Midlands; to make a more cohesive SCA region we need to travel beyond our little niche
    • traveling to other groups for events helps each of us grow as individuals and in the SCA: you get to know really great people, learn things you might not have otherwise
    • volunteer at other events, too! it's great for meeting people; give you something to talk about; also inspires other people to be willing to help us
    • in short: scratch other people's backs more often so they might scratch ours when we need it

  • Maidens 2012:
    • Aleator was thinking about putting in a bid to autocrat; has until February to present it before we vote
    • Kenneth willing to be a deputy
    • Illini Union already reserved for Jan. 28
    • Eadric's bid handed out for review
